Position Overview:

As the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development , you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and expanding spanet presence. This role involves shaping strategic initiatives, building and maintaining customer relationships, and managing a high-performing team to achieve business objectives. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will also play a critical role in the development of spaneting strategies and business expansion efforts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership: Oversee and guide all sales activities, including outside sales and account development, to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for clients, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of innovative spaneting plans to position the company as an industry leader.
  • RFP and Contract Management: Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including development, proposal, and negotiation phases, to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of professionals across sales, spaneting, and business development, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • CRM Utilization: Leverage Salesforce CRM to enhance customer insights, improve pipeline management, and support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or spaneting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within an MRO company.
  • Helicopter industry experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing the entire RFP process, from drafting to successful contract execution.
  • Strong track record in customer relationship management, including escalation resolution and operational coordination.
  • Demonstrated success in opportunity identification, pipeline development, and expanding business relationships.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, with experience managing system configuration and driving team adoption.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate across organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively in a competitive spanet.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
