Job Summary:
The Director IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity is accountable and responsible for establishing and directing the strategic planning, implementation, and operation of Crane Aerospace & Electronics’ IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity programs. The Director also oversees the selection of network, hardware and Cloud infrastructure that will support current operations and accomplish long-term business objectives; ensures regulatory compliance, tracks technology trends and identifies new opportunities to enhance efficiency and gain a competitive advantage. The IT Director also works in collaboration with our Global Information Security organization to define, install and manage cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for IT network and infrastructure needs including infrastructure for Enterprise Resource Planning, Engineering Applications, Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management and all IT operational components
- Plan, direct and manage the IT Infrastructure department personnel, ensuring the development and implementation of cost-effective and efficient systems to meet current and future business requirements. Actively support VP of IT in the development of the business’ strategic plan
- Ensure compliance with SOX, DFARS and other regulations with NIST-800.171 or similar frameworks
- Support formalization of IT policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing, safeguard company information resources, and meet industry compliance standards
- Direct the continuous improvement of the IT Infrastructure staff, equipment, and procedures to maintain pace with technological progress, economic change and business needs
- Partner and maintain effective communications with internal and external business operations to solve problems in an efficient and effective manner
- Maximize internal and external IT resources. Identify when external resources are necessary and manage their ongoing performance
- Maintain knowledge of developments in the area of Information Technology and incorporate these developments into future corporate systems
- Ensures Intellectual Capital reviews are conducted in a timely manner and reviewed with manager on quarterly basis. Develop and execute personal development plans for all team members
- Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of senior IT Infrastructure leadership with a global manufacturing company in a role that required interaction with an executive team; 5+ years on-premise and commercial/government Cloud Infrastructure and networking management; Experience managing in a regulated industry requiring compliance with DFARS, GDPR and similar regulations implementing systems based on NIST 800-171 frameworks; Experience in leading cross functional teams.
- 5+ years hands on experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Networking and Security
- Datacenter and Compute
- Infrastructure Engineering including Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of European data protection and/or safe harbor regulations
- Skills/Abilities: Strong people and project management and organizational skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Effective interpersonal skills; Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving, and debugging skills; Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse, global information technology environment adhering to United States Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulations; Proven track record of overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions through a structured lifecycle and the review of such material with senior management to gain their understanding and support of proposed changes; Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly energized and results oriented business environment; Ability to consistently achieve results in a self-motivated and directed manner; Ability to create strong relationships with a core set of technology vendors and to leverage vendor relationships to deliver against the systems plan; Strong customer service orientation.
- Education/Certification: BS with a concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other closely related discipline
- Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

- Experience working with lean manufacturing techniques
- PMP certification

Top Benefits:
Salary range: $199,400 to 248,400. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
