Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director of Supply Chain Management leads the division to ensure best in practice processes and service delivery. The Director will conduct a needs assessment review and will develop and implement an efficient, cost effective and safety conscious supply chain management process. This position is responsible for full cycle supply chain management including but not limited to sourcing, contracting, logistics, inventory, component repair and warranty, vendor and relationship management, and oversight of storing, handling and shipping of all equipment, parts and operations materials. Travels as necessary to meet business needs.
Responsibilities Include:
Directly responsible for overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, selection of vendors, product inventory and distribution of materials or equipment.
Conducts needs assessment reviews and forecasting in collaboration with base site leaders and our corporate office; correcting plans accordingly.
Drives organization of full cycle supply chain management processes across a decentralized network.
Produces strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Develops tools and methodologies to capture and plan the appropriate levels of inventory current and future planning.
Ensures the applicable processes are in place for proper and efficient inventory packaging, product storage, documentation, damage claims, repair vendor relationships, and containerization.
Drives collaboration with partners, including suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers and customer; develops and delivers vendor performance metrics.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost-conscious manner, complying with all PHI Health policies, procedures and regulations, in accordance with the regulatory environment.
Schedule/Location:
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Bachelors degree in business management or related discipline required; Masters degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years experience in supply chain management.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Aviation.
Certification in one of the following: Certified Supply Chain Professional/Certified in Production and Inventory Management/Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred.
Project Management/Six Sigma or advanced training preferred.
Experience with implementing major organizational change, including significant supply chain redesign and operational efficiency improvements.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect; working with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes.
Professional maturity and gravitas.
Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen are required.
Ability to recognize and generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they arise.
Must have a working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting and cost management.
This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
