Position Summary

Summary

The Division Sales & Marketing Manager is a key senior leadership role within the Polymer Seals & UK Composites (PSC) division, encompassing our global footprint in EMEA, APAC, and NA regions. This position is responsible for steering the divisions sales and spaneting strategies, driving growth, and expanding our spanet share across our diverse product lines.

  • Lead the Strategic Positioning process for the division; clearly identifying the Products, spanets, Customers and Technology needed to drive profitable spanet share growth.
  • Lead the divisions efforts to significantly enhance the order book through strategic business development and securing new business awards across our product range; including Polymer Seals, Ground Refuelling, Composite Radomes, Complex Composite Structures, and Composites MRO.
  • Amplify the divisions customer relationship management by fostering strong, enduring relationships with customers and improving customer likelihood to recommend through personalised service and support.
  • Implement and oversee the effective use of CRM tools, leveraging data to optimise the sales process and improve customer engagement.
  • Utilise customer satisfaction survey insights to drive continuous improvement within the organisation, securing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Elevate the division sales and business development teams performance, focusing on developing robust sales strategies and spaneting initiatives that drive organic growth and spanet penetration.
  • Mentor and develop the Sales teams across all regions, ensuring alignment with the divisions strategic goals and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Set the strategic direction for Global Key Accounts, leading high-stakes negotiations, and sales initiatives to enhance long-term partnerships and secure revenue growth.
  • Guide the Sales and BD team, enhancing competencies to manage core business effectively and identifying growth opportunities in new business areas.
  • Drive successful product launches and manage customer conversions, ensuring seamless introduction and adoption of new and replacement products.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans for commercialising products and solutions, coordinating with internal and external groups for successful implementation.

  • Proven experience in a senior sales & spaneting or business development role with direct customer interaction and leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record as a leader in capturing new business and managing follow-on business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating with customers and distributors.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional Key Account Management teams effectively.
  • Exceptional influencing skills with key collaborative partners within the division, group and corporate leadership and also external customers/partners.
  • High level of accountability and business acumen with robust professional selling skills.
  • Expertise in Customer Engagement Processes and Key Account Management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with a proven capacity to work collaboratively and build strong customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and demonstrated computer proficiency.
  • Experience in channel management, with skills in optimising business growth channels and managing direct customers and distributors.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
