Tasks
The Duty Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
- Acting as customer care ambassador if assigned by Station Manager
- Being present frontline, wearing a LHG uniform,and monitoring performance of all suppliers involved
- Establishing & maintaining operational readiness & compliant handling for designated remote stations as well as alternate airports
- Regular travel to assigned remote stations for turnaround-checks & quality meetings with our service partners
- Fostering quality awareness & high service attitude in daily work
- Intervening in case of shortcomings & ensuring that service basics are adhered to by all providers
- Following Safety Management System requirements of the respective operators
- Reporting operational irregularities according to the operators manuals
- Being accesible for operational requirements

Requirements
The ideal Duty Manager should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelors and Masters degree desirable
- Very experienced in ground operations, minimum 3 years
- Fluent Greek and English required
- German desirable
- Knowledge of airport procedures & processes
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Psychological assessment may be required
- Must be willing to work shifts
