EHS Location Leader will be responsible for managing all EHS related activities and reporting, as well as development of EHS culture
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Leading all EHS related activities within the location and managing the EHS team.
Conducting inspections of working conditions and compliance with occupational health and safety rules and regulations
Periodical analyses of the state of environment, health, and safety conditions at work
Participation in the development of company collective bargaining agreements, internal orders, regulations and general instructions on health and safety at work
Participation in the determination of the circumstances and causes of incidents at work and in the development of conclusions resulting from the investigation of the causes and circumstances of these accidents
Keeping records, completing, and storing occupational health and safety documents
Advising on the application of occupational health and safety regulations and rules
Participating in the assessment of occupational risks that are related to the work performed.
Conducting initial health & safety training for new hires.
Organizing periodic health and safety trainings for employees.
Cooperation with the medical unit providing preventive health care for employees.
Participate in the work of health and safety committees
Participation in EHS projects at divisional level
Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Higher or Postgraduate education in EHS area
5 years of experience in EHS in manufacturing environment
Practical knowledge of EHS legislation in Poland
Knowledge of occupational safety and risk management systems
Very good communication in English
Ability to manage a team and work with stakeholders on different organizational levels
Systematic, analytic thinking and a good organization of work
Ability to work under time pressure
