Job Description:

Quality is at the core of our company and is a foundation for a more sustainable business. Supplier quality management begins early in the product design and supplier selection process. Being able to monitor our Design suppliers is key to prevent late quality non-conformity in production.

As a Design Supplier Quality Assurance Manager your responsibility is to monitor the suppliers during the development phase and secure quality standards of safety and reliability, 

You contribute to enhancing the safety and quality of our helicopter&39;s development.

Your challenge

What type of work you will be doing?

In this role you will engage with diverse stakeholders, bringing communication between different departments and external authorities. You will directly interact and collaborate with our suppliers and also internal departments such as Engineering functions, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Customers.

Main tasks:

• Preparing Call For Tender with Engineering functions and Procurement

• Contributing to selection of design suppliers including assessment of their technical development and capability

• Ensuring the quality of the supplier deliverables in line with our processes and quality standards, by:

  • Preparing and attending the design reviews with the Engineering functions and the supplier (approval of documentation, actions closure)

  • Closely monitoring the development with the Engineering function and the supplier

  • Supporting the Engineering functions and the supplier on applicable processes

• Ensure the proper application of preventive and corrective quality standards (e.g. DFMEA, PPS) at suppliers level

• Support and follow supplier improvement process and improve supplier quality performances (implementation of corrective actions by agreeing improvement plans and supporting their implementation)

• Collaborate and interact with various departments and organizations, in particular with Procurement and Engineering functions.

• Act as a referent for the Design Supplier Quality Assurance team

• Managing the Design Supplier Quality Assurance sub-contracting

Your profile

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering and/or engineering quality 

• Good knowledge of EN9100, good knowledge of EASA Part21J would be appreciated

• Good project management and experience in design reviews

• Good knowledge in suppliers management

• Good stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to work in international context with strong networking skills

• French and English: Negotiation level
