An offer entitled &34; Super Puma Contract Manager (m/f)&34; has just opened within  Airbus Helicopters on its  Marignane site

You will join the department in charge of managing all engineering activities for the H225 plateform.

This offer will consist of:
Within Super Puma platform and under direct responsibility of the Super Puma Contract Manager, you will be responsible of all systems development for a military Contract.
Super Puma plateform is facing main challenges and you will be part of it by ensuring the good execution of ours contracts.

In a dynamic environment, you will interface with Super Puma main stakeholders within Design Office such as métiers leaders, others project and contract managers, PMO, Flight tests, bench tests... and in addition with Super Puma Plateau members from other disciplines: program, production, support, procurement.

Your challenges
You will contribute to the following main activities:
Lead engineering activities on a contract
Achieve project objectives (time, scope, cost, quality) for customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations

More in details:
● Be the engineering focal point and leader for customer, program, industry, S&S and the whole engineering community for a given contract and associated aircrafts for system development.
● Put in place the appropriate project structure (Squads and back-office) to support contract development activities.
● Lead all engineering activities, and ensure customer needs and requirements are met.
● Ensure effective management of partners and suppliers. Participate to reviews with key suppliers and customer, as main engineering focal point for the system development of the contract.
● Build and follow-up development schedule, with a clear ambition to deliver our commitments as planned to our customers, especially industry.
● Manage workload and expenses to ensure development is done within budget allocated by program.
● Ensure dependencies from other contracts or Super Puma CORE aircraft MAS allowing deliveries in accordance with your contract needs.
● Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt.
● Ensure active risk and opportunity and contract (internal or external) management.

Your profile
Experience in project management from 3 to 5 years
Engineer diplome
General knowledge of helicopter and main sub-systems
Strong project management and organization skills.
General Design Office knowledge: understanding and architecture of drawings, design rules, stress analysis
General knowledge of airworthiness: certification, continuous airworthiness
General knowledge of configuration management, non-conformity management
Possibly experience concerning mission systems and performances, or operational use of helicopters.
High sense of autonomy, initiative and team spirit
Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with ability to process lots of complex information in a limited time
Argumentation & negotiations capacities
Positive attitude, welcome problem attitude
Language skills: Advanced level in English & French

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
