The role objective will be to lead the Engineering Program Operation for Future of Flight programs, in the field of Sustainable Aviation Fuels and enhanced propulsion, in close relationship with the reference System Leaders; in particular:
• demonstration plan monitoring (schedule & cost)
• budgeting process, forecast periodic update and monitoring of actuals
• Line of Balance processes implementation and execution for hardware supply
• implementation and optimization of processes and procedures
• support to the reference External Funding Manager in cost/documentation reportingJob Description
Essential Responsibilities
The EU Program –Lead Program Operation will be responsible for the:
support the System Leader in monitoring/update the demo plan and related actions
implementation of the demonstration plan (schedule & cost) in the internal planning system
implementation and execution of Line of Balance to control the hardware delivery (make and buy)
coordination of the purchase processes (SoW, request for quotation, RdA, VUL, SAL), ensuring compliance with Avio Aero and GE Aerospace processes while guaranteeing proper documentation storage to secure grants from External Funding initiatives
adoption of KPIs to monitor performance, identify recovery actions and set up a tracking rhythm
promotion of lean initiatives to improve tools and processes
interaction with the Engineering Operation sub-section
The role will be mainly focused on:
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace or Management preferred)
Experience in and engineering or program manager position
Significant experience in complex NPI or NTI programs
Ability to work successfully in team environment and to build relationship with customers
Familiarity with Lean tools
Fluency in English and Italian
Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required
