Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an F-22 Aircraft Maintenance Manager for our Edwards Air Force Base flight test site. This position will provide direction to the F-22 Combined Test Force on second shift.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Specifically this includes technical direction and oversight of daily flight line operations; interaction with Ops personnel, Ops schedulers, Ground Ops, Air Vehicle Systems and Material Review Board Engineers, Quality Engineering, Air Vehicle Managers and Air Force Production Superintendent(s) and organization leadership.
• Coordinates and integrates efforts of the purple (Air Force, Lockheed, Boeing, Government Civilians and Government Contractors) team as well as Admin tasks such as performance appraisals, timekeeping, staffing & disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly personnel
• Scope of responsibilities includes detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management. Oversees and directs maintenance activities associated with the management of flight test operations.
A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

•Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Position requires extensive (at least 15 years) professional experience in managing flight test or high tempo operational maintenance and logistics environment
• Experienced with managing extensive aircraft modifications: Planning, Scheduling, Execution and closeout—to include Hardware and Software modifications and checkouts
• Experience in areas of creating and executing project, cost, schedule and risk management
• Experience with flight test operations
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college
• Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo flight test environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Customers, team partner companies, and local base authorities critical for success.
• Prior United States Air Force or civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience highly desirable; specifically, organizational, and intermediate maintenance
• Experience with Earned Value Management a plus.
• Experience creating and maintaining schedules within Microsoft Project a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $112,800 - $216,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
