In this highly visible role as F135 Program Operations Production Lead, you will be responsible for driving the program’s delivery, quality, and cost goals, while also focusing on identifying and mitigating risk in the short to medium term.
What You Will Do:
- Lead development of program risk mitigation & identification tools to ensure commits & deliveries accurately reflect clearance &/or risk to production & sustainment needs
- Acquire & review Part LOBs/Commits with Mod/Product Centers & work with Mod/Product Center and PDC on critical hardware coverage
- Work directly with Materials managers to ensure proper demand signals are in place (internal and within supply chain) needed to meet MRP/Contractual requirements.
- Review assigned hardware WIP positions and delivery constraints with Materials Managers; collaborate to identify mitigation strategies to resolve
- Prepare & publish content to support F135 Program CORE Control Room
- Collaborate with supply chain in communicating raw material challenges & alignment of production needs to support weekly, monthly & annual requirements
- Support Engine Center Escalation Calls each week to assess & provide input (where required) for production issues
- Participate in Mod Center Tier Meeting Attendance to assess program risks & verification of actions being taken to resolve issues
- Engage with operations & supplier quality teams to identify & resolve quality issues impacting delivery
- Prepare & deliver content for Production IPMT to status & address short-mid term issues
- Gather information from business unit leaders or procurement associates and assisting in obtaining information in an expedited manner to allow for timely communication, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Assist with Allocation Decisions (Production vs. MRO) based on projected hardware delivery streams
- Assist in reviewing Transfer of Assets (ToAs) requests & execute buy backs (where required) to mitigate work stoppages
- Work with sustainment on clearing Critical Parts List (Depot Workstops)
- Assist with any quality issues (SDOs) and industrial recovery needed to ensure consistent supply of hardware
- Function as the point of contact for Pratt & Whitney’s external customer and key program partners including leading critical program industrial reviews, supporting customer-facing communications, and coordinating local and on-site meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborating with other program industrial leads & production chiefs on key initiatives focused on achieving company contractual requirements & business objectives
- There is less than 10 travel associated with this role.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing supply chain, program/project management or a related field; OR a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications we prefer:
- Experience in aerospace and government contracts
- Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/Materials Management/Supply Chain/Continuous Improvement (CORE)
- Experience using SAP

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
