Job Description SummaryResponsible for Earned Value Management (EVM) for Defense and Systems at GE Aerospace. Will be responsible for maintaining the COBRA Software and EVM reports. Will own the reporting for certain contract. Works closely with Program Mangers, Control Account Managers (CAMs) and scheduling team in the execution of EV on contract.Job Description
- Provide guidance and people leadership to cost analyst working on program.
- Lead EVM Interface with internal and external customers (answer questions, provide EVM guidance, participate in MPR, PCB and other meetings as needed)
- Work as a team with EVM Scheduling counterpart providing guidance as to monthly schedule, EVM Processes.
- Clarity Maintenance (Charge code Creation/Closure)
- Responsible for integration of Open Plan (schedule) to the cost Cobra system
- Will oversee providing ad -hoc reports as needed to support program from Spotfire.
- Responsible for the Baseline Change Requests to include maintaining MR Log and BCR Template.
- Review and Approve/Reject BCRs from Finance Perspective
- Responsible for EVM Reporting to internal and external customer. Includes Monthly/Yearly reports listed on contract such as the Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR)(monthly) and Cost Data Summary Report (CDSR) (yearly)
- Assist with forecasting – Support program Forecast Activities for Clarity and for EAC development.
- Work Authorization approvals and logging, Training of CAMs, PMs, ensure that books balance every month with what is in the MR Log
- Advise CAMs and Program management in accordance with applicable EVM related decisions and program actions such as replans, rate changes, variances, forecasting and other EVM type topics.
- Assist with surveillance events, providing data to DCMA as well as working with internal compliance team, CAMs, and Program Manager to provide guidance, training, and information on the event.
- Lead Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) for the program by working with internal Program Manger and external customer to set the agenda and topics. Will be responsible for pulling reports together needed for event.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or other related field and 7 yrs. Experience
- This role is restricted to U.S. person (s) (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
