Essential responsibilities:
- Keep up to date of current fire safety codes and procedures and GE Aerospace requirements.
- Conduct and evaluate all evacuation drills and procedures.
- Responsible for inspection, testing and maintaining all Fire Protection and life safety equipment pre–GE Aerospace requirements
- Responsible for maintaining hot work permits program.
- Responsible for maintaining confined space program.
- Responsible for locating or identifying hazardous conditions and fire code violations.
- Responsible for the emergency response program.
Minimum qualifications.
- Bachelors Degree (or 5+ years equivalent work experience)
- Must have previous training, work experience, and background in emergency response and fire protection
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally or written.

- Understand fire codes and regulations for the state of North Carolina.
