JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Fleet Management Representative
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Fleet Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Expertise and oversight on chronic, complex and repeat problems at the fleet level.
- Recommend corrective action and process improvement plans for fleet improvement.
- The FMR will provide monthly reliability data to the fleet manager and other departments as required.
- Assist with fleet improvements such as SB’s or component upgrades under the direction of the fleet manager.
- Review SIL/ SB/ AD and other data as required for fleet enhancements.
- Will collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Avionics, Tech Services or management to review data to identify items that could induce fleet issues.
- May need to acquire data from Maintenance Control or other OEM such as Boeing, Honeywell, Collins during data research.
- Utilize Boeing AHM to identify fleet trends.
- May require technical input and upkeep of the database collection systems to help identify trends and component failures at a fleet level.
- Assist the Fleet manager in procurement of fleet data.
- Work closely with engineering for fleet configuration.
- Participate in Boeing Fleet Team meetings.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Fleet Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a valid A&P Certificate, experience working Heavy Transport Aircraft preferably 747-400 and 777 aircraft. Be able to use and understand Boeing data such as wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, fault isolation, illustrated parts catalog, Sbs, Ftd’s. Possess good computer skills and verbal communication skills.
Have at least 5 years of experience maintaining the same category and class of airplanes operated by Kalitta Air
Must be appropriately certificated under 14 CFR Part 65
FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certificate
Individual must be organized and able to work with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Must be a US Citizen
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
