Job Description:
As Flight Training Operations Manager - Planning, you will be responsible for the scheduling of flight crew training courses and simulator sessions at Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC), achieving high efficiency in utilisation of training resources whilst ensuring the highest quality of flight training and satisfaction is delivered to Airbus customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Answer DRY & WET training requests from customers, Sales, Airbus Commercial and Central Entities
Plan and schedule all DRY & WET training courses conducted in AATC with training resources, including simulators and instructors
Ensure all training requests are scheduled in accordance with Airbus internal policies and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, including rest & duty limitations
Optimise the usage of training resources in AATC following operating targets set forth by the Company
Liaise with Airbus Central Entity on planning processes and resources support from other Airbus training centres
Liaise with external training vendors for sourcing of additional simulator capacity
Collaborate with other internal departments (Training Support & Delivery, Training, Maintenance, Quality, Customer Experience and Commercial Sales) on operational matters during training execution
Manage any training disruptions or unscheduled changes to training schedules with internal departments and customers
Liaise with Quality department on scheduled simulator flyouts and evaluation sessions by customers and airworthiness authorities
Liaise with Maintenance department for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance downtime planning for simulators
Prepare simulator and instructor workload report to Training Operations Director on a weekly basis
Prepare and publish instructor rosters on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly instructor services purchase orders to internal and external training vendors
When required, make hotel and air transport arrangements for overseas-based instructors travelling to AATC for training missions
Job Requirements:
Min. Diploma in aviation/aerospace/aeronautical fields with 2-3 year working experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Understanding of CAAS and/or EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) flight crew licensing regulations with previous experience in airline crew rostering will be advantageous
