As GE Military Advanced Program Manager you will manage the GE Military Programs such as T901, T700 and F110 programs. This will be done through: setting and respecting the budget for the programs along the year, managing the configuration according to the Company procedures, owning the portfolio profitability (along with GSC and Finance) and managing the adequate reporting to the Senior Leadership, supporting Customers’ calls and needs, leading the AvioAero PCB process for the programs, participating and supporting any applicable review with Customers. Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution of the GE Military programs, maximizing benefits and opportunities
Manage Contract(s) maximizing benefits and opportunities
Meet Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives
Define, update and monitor budget, business plan, economics (REV, GM, etc.), financials (collection, etc.), program KPI (OTD, VoC, etc.)
Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs, EV etc.) at the operating rhythm (MOR, QMI, Cash Flow, etc.)
Perform regular risk assessments, responsible for the execution of mitigation activities to address key risks
Support the preparation of program reviews with Customer, in accordance with the contractual and customer expectations
Define plans and Execute activities to address customer concerns and maximize Customer satisfaction
Lead the cross-functional Program Team (ENG, GSC, QUA, etc.)
Responsible for the flow-down of Customer Demand
Support the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customers needs through the negotiations and until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting
Delegated for approval, signature and archiving of the documentation sent to the Customer (PO acceptance, official letters, etc.), as per DoA list.
Lead and manage the Configuration Control Board within the assigned contracts
Lead the Program Control Board preparation
Responsible for order and contract management tasks/duties
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, preferred graduation in Mechanical/Aerospace/Management Engineering
Previous experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing and/or Quality and/or Program Management, in a complex and matrix environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks
Proactive and able to work with an entrepreneurial approach in a multidimensional environment and lead cross functional team
Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
Good Knowledge of financial/business concepts, contract and project management
Orientation to Customer
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
Knowledge of office automation
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
