The GL Manager will perform closing tasks, including calculation, booking, reconciliation, and clearing of GL accounts. They will participate in LHG ICS audits, contribute to SAP4HANA implementation ensuring Belgian GAAP compliance, lead accounting projects, and act as a key contact for auditors.

Closing Tasks

• Perform monthly closing tasks: booking, reconciling, and clearing complex general ledger accounts.
• Support the Head of Accounting in ensuring books completeness and accuracy.
• Identify risks and opportunities in Balance Sheet items.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements reporting.

SAP4HANA and FTP Implementation

• Participate in implementing LHG Accounting software and process changes.
• Propose improvements and ensure compliance with Belgian Statutory requirements.
• Represent Brussels Airlines in LHG accounting initiatives and lead local implementation.

Internal and External Audit

• Participate in LHG ICS audits.
• Act as the point of contact for auditors.

POC for Belgian Accounting Standards

• Advise on CapEx/OpEx, new GL accounts, and statutory project impacts.
