Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a General and Operations Manager - Journeyman with current SECRET clearance for Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), MD.
This position will manage and support a high level NAWCAD program, with the Journeyman Operations Manager as point of contact for operations at the site for mission execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, direct or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations
- Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources
- Responsible for oversight to the company and subcontractor personnel and the successful performance and detailed technical management of the Contractor unit, directly supervising members of the team
- Ensure close coordination between all site leads and supervisors to minimize impacts on operations to include scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, operations, etc.
- Daily update of personnel trackers and scheduling
- Serves as the Program Manager’s right hand and the senior representative on site
Requirements
Experience
- 3-10 years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations in Systems Engineering Support. Of the years of experience required, at least one of those years must include supervisory experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical discipline
Other Requirements
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Requirements
- Hands on experience with military communications, intelligence or reconnaissance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $89,000.00 to $155,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
