As part of the GE Additive Commercial Operations team, this position will be responsible for the global sales partner strategy and activating partner experience programs that enable increased sales and market penetration in selected territories.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement, operationalize, and measure initiatives that deliver sales growth for an established global third-party reseller network through improving existing activities, implementing planned programs, and, creating new strategies that you ideate, develop, and implement.
  • Set annual order targets for each sales partner as established by the annual planning process with GE Additive and Sales Partner.
  • Measure and report performance to commercial operations, sales leadership, and partner account managers.
  • Initiate and implement remedial action plans as necessary.
  • Administer training and market development funds to provide highest return on investment.
  • Maintain and promote compliance with the policies and procedures of GE Additive.
  • Manage new sales partner due diligence and Intermediary Review Board process.
  • Negotiate agreements, renewals, changes, and terminations.
  • Travel to meet with sales partners in international locations up to 40 of the time.
  • Coordinate with responsible sales directors to optimize commercial efforts and overlap.
  • Identify other potential partners in territory and monitor territory design strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a quarterly sales plan that spells out key actions and associated dates.  Review progress with manager monthly.
  • In collaboration with commercial and product leadership, develop and implement sales incentives for the Reseller to promote specific sales initiatives.
  • Other Commercial Operations functions as required.
  • Drive global commercial operating standards.
  • Support digitization efforts through implementation of Salesforce.com to Partners
  • Communicate to sales partners, verbally and in written form, fluently in English

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with 6 plus years business development experience or high school diploma / GED with 9 plus years’ business development experience
  • Five (5) plus years’ experience in delivering growth through resellers within the advanced manufacturing product category.
  • Three (3) plus years’ experience working in influence-based roles within large, matrixed organizations and working cross functionally.

Desired Characteristics

  • Masters, Business Administration from an accredited university
  • Technical awareness of metal additive manufacturing applications.
  • Multilingual
  • Compelling presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and conflict issues.
  • Customer success obsession and a bold passion for sales results.  
  • Leadership impact and ability to consult with and challenge sales leaders within the organization regarding their needs, gaps and plans.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
