Group Manager

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Group Manager, Journeyman to oversee the overall operation of assigned requirements, providing both long-term and short-term plans for aircraft maintenance support. The successful candidate will manage all activities of the maintenance department staff and must have extensive technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities, and equipment. This role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft knowledge, as well as personal knowledge of computers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall operation of assigned requirements, providing long-term and short-term plans for aircraft maintenance support.
• Manage all activities of the maintenance department staff.
• Offer technical direction in all maintenance areas with robust mechanical aptitude.
• Possess extensive knowledge of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series and CNAFINST 4790.2 series documents.
• Knowledgeable of basic supply procedures.
• Interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Ensure the proper assignment of program workloads and duties for entire shifts.
• Maintain oversight and coordination of maintenance projects to ensure accountability.
• Facilitate planning and informational meetings.
• Ensure all direct report employees and maintenance employees receive job and safety training.
