Job Description SummaryIn this critical role, you will be responsible for the identification, planning and execution of multiple, large scale transformation efforts for our EMEA-region HR Service Delivery strategy.
As a Workforce Administration Leader, you will also be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed, customer-centric team in the delivery of expert support and end to end HR transactions, (hires, changes, exits, mass transactions, organizational changes), lifecycle services and related processes and tools. Viewed as a Leader and Partner to the business and Region, you will have a strategic role leading the compliance, productivity and efficiency of your domain HR processes and tools.
Working in collaboration with Human Resource colleagues, you will help identify high-value change initiatives within our HR Services structure which drive efficiencies and simplify processes for our colleagues and customers. You will apply Lean methodologies for the implementation of regional best practices, while leveraging your expertise to influence stakeholders and 3rd Party providers to ensure flawless transformation execution. Essential Responsibilities:
Lead Transformation initiatives with the HR Operations domain which deliver efficient and enhanced Employee Experiences to our EMEA region
Regional Service Delivery teams and the operational execution for such teams that manage program events and respond to employee and HR service ticket requests and management of level 1 escalations
Supports the effort to build a catching organization during the transition, define immediate and future support needs and operational frameworks
Provides leadership for transitional team during interim transitional period
Services include HR operational service areas such as: employee transactional support, mass transactions, complex organization reorganizations, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, problem escalations, etc
Execute HR transactions against Service Delivery measures through SLA/KPIs which ensure program and organizational success for your stakeholders
Utilize LEAN principals to drive operational technology/process improvements to deliver a contemporary experience to the business.
Support operating rhythm & scorecards, including input into intake process and prioritization
Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and GE policy requirements.
Manages execution transitional planning and any accelerated ‘catching’:
Service Performance - Monitor KPI performance, variance commentary and actions to improve through established LEAN routines (e.g. MOR)
Quality Assurance - Lead key inputs/outputs to proactively identify and resolve issues
Vendor Relationship Management - Strategically lead quarterly reviews with vendors to drive performance, strengthen collaborative efforts and delivery of shared success
Events - Ensure event readiness (operations, technology, audience)
Audit and compliance – Lead delivery of process changes in response to audit and compliance issues
Direct and Indirect Team Leadership - Manage, coach and develop direct reports and support teams in the execution and delivery of their operational services by modelling a culture of continuous improvement regarding HR Operational customer focus and process delivery.
Requirements:
Proven progressive experience in HR Operations, HR Services Delivery roles
Proven track record of implementing transformational initiatives focused on improving Employee Experiences through Systems, Process, and Digitization enhancements
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Ability to work independently by leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others and operating within a defined budget
Ability to work under broad or limited supervision
Articulate, adaptable, with excellent inter-personal and cross-cultural skills
Can-do attitude with a keen sense of accountability as well as interdependence
Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems, to lead people/teams, and to transfer knowledge while developing others through effective coaching and mentoring
Detail and numerical orientated with good analytical and critical thinking skills
Established project management skills
Experience in providing independent technical guidance and counsel to HR stakeholders at various level of experience and hierarchy in the organization. Ability to adapt advisory style and tailor final products to target audiences
Eye for detail, confidence to challenge and ask questions
Good Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; quick adaptability to systems, tools, and processes
Logical, structured and process-orientated thinking.
Strong consultative, leadership and overall oral and written communication skills
Understanding of finance for business.
