Arconic is currently in search of an IT Manufacturing Project Leader to join our North American Rolled Products Team in Bettendorf, IA.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manages Davenport IT environments critical for Manufacturing operations
- Manages manufacturing application integrations with other systems
- Manages production support teams, project deployment teams, and off-shore development teams
- Develops in-depth understanding of the business processes in the Manufacturing area of the Arconic business
- Guides and directs project team member activities to ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality project delivery
- Guides and directs support team member activities to ensure SLA and customer satisfaction targets
- Develops and manages capital budget request documentation
- Proactively manages capital spend processes, including monthly capital expense forecasts for responsible projects
- Ensures project solutions align with Arconic’s compliance standards (Arconic Self-Assessment Tests, ITAR, DFARS, SOX, etc.)
- Proactively performs risk management to minimize project risks
- Experienced with B2B Commerce partnerships and EDI deployments
- Initiates innovation and change that delivers measurable value
Key Objectives
- Partners with business leaders to prioritize project needs and ensure highest business needs are resourced appropriately
- Aligns priorities of project deliverables and timelines among multiple business stakeholders across the BU
- Establishes and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers to identify and on-board qualified contract resources
- Aligns with Davenport & Satellites IT Manager to balance resource capacity of location resources to project needs
- Maintains strong collaboration and partnership with business functional owners, Global information systems, procurement, finance, engineering, and plant lead team members
- Inspires team to generate and deliver new value-add ideas
- Regularly communicates project status to project steering team and stakeholders
- Addresses issues promptly and escalates issues appropriately to project steering team
- Resolves team conflicts and escalates appropriately
- Supports Arconic Compliance activities by performing annual system testing for adherence to IT System and SOX Audit requirements, assists SOX audit teams and internal audit teams as required, and performs Disaster Recovery testing as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience with Manufacturing IT systems
- Experience with manufacturing systems that support HR functions like overtime and attendance
- Demonstrated application support and operations management experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong business process and manufacturing knowledge
- Effective people and team leadership skills
- Working knowledge of SQL, PLSQL and database query tools (SQL Developer and/or SQL+)
- Experience with COBOL
- Experience in VB.Net, C, Java, or C development
- Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies
- Experience with IT internal audit processes
- Creative thinker
- Knowledge of Quality Systems
