Reports to: IT Practice Manager

Join Cathay as the IT Practice Lead to drive continuous improvement of project management frameworks, processes, and tools, ensuring alignment across IT disciplines.

As the IT Practice Lead – Agile, you will be responsible for leading and developing Cathay’s Agile practices; continuously improving the Agile practice framework, processes, and toolsets; and aligning and integrating with other IT practice areas, as well as planning and governance processes.

• Lead Cathay Agile practices to enable effective and efficient delivery
• Develop and continuously improve Agile methodologies, frameworks, processes and toolsets
• Seek and adapt best practices and innovations from internal and external sources
• Monitor Agile practices, collect feedback and drive continuous improvement
• Manage change initiatives to improve adoption of Agile practices
• Coach and provide advisory support to agile practitioners and teams
• Train practitioners in Agile frameworks, processes and toolsets to enhance productivity
• Lead and enable Agile practice champions to promote practices and gather feedback
• Represent Agile practice in recruitment, evaluating candidates on competencies and practice criteria
• Align and integrate Agile methodologies with other IT practice areas, planning and governance processes while managing communications, content repository, and capability uplift programs

• Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• Possess minimum 6 years of experience as a practitioner in the relevant practice, and minimum 10 years of related IT experience
• Demonstrates experience in driving agile transformation within an organization and practical change management experience
• Proven ability to effectively coach, consult with, and advise individuals and teams
• Demonstrates leadership skills, and can influence decision making
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders, with strengths in relationship and stakeholder management
• Passionate and ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Keeps abreast across industry trends, findings and reports related their area of practice
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end project delivery and system delivery lifecycles and methodologies
