You would be a seasoned Identity and Access Management Architect helping to develop and deliver on a migration strategy to support a new business as we build an entirely new multi-tenant identity construct and migrate legacy data for use with this identity construct. In this role, you will need to be technically capable, enjoy learning and introducing new technology to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt that technology, and be skilled at communicating technology strategies to internal customers. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other departments within our organization.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Build deep relationships with decision makers within internal organizations to enable them to be “IAM advocates”, allowing for standardized identity integration into all applications needed by the business
Design a modern, secure, extensible identity platform, providing for simple, standardized identity integration
Design end-to-end workflows with user outcomes foremost, simplifying ease of access and use
Strategy & Innovation: articulate business/industry fundamentals (e.g., ROI, CBA, TCO); understand regulations and operational excellence; familiarity with business strategy and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, IoT, Predictive Analytics)
Technology Breadth: demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Architectural and engineering experience with modern identity platforms, such as Okta and Entra ID
Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
Experience within specific identity domain
Knowledge and understanding of modern identity standards (SAML2.0, OIDC, OAutstrong, SPIFFE)
Experience in design, implementation, and integration of identity platforms into business applications
Experience in design, implementation, and integration of identity platforms into IaaS/PaaS/SaaS applications
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field and the minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Architectural and engineering experience with the Microsoft 365 product suite, especially Entra ID
Knowledge of NIST 800-171, 800-207, and DOD ZTRA
Experience working with end user and developer communities to gather and standardize requirements, and translate them to business outcomes

The salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 316,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
