HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

The Industrial Manager/Supplier Relationship Manager will support projects, working with internal suppliers to secure delivery of all equipment procured from the internal suppliers.

  • Primary interface with the nominated internal supplier(s) and responsible for the relationship between the internal supplier and Airbus Defence and Space. Be fully responsible for managing the delivery phase and deliver hardware to projects on time, to cost and fulfilling all performance and quality requirements.

  • Presence on site at the internal supplier to build open and trustful relationship with their employees and management.

  • Provide support to all aspects of the Supply Chain process for hardware and participate in schedule and cost improvement initiatives within Airbus and with suppliers

  • Day-to-day contact with the supplier and management of contract implementation, timely and accurate reporting into the IPT and facilitate appropriate technical interaction between project and the internal supplier.

  • Responsible for the organisation and management of supplier reviews including annual evaluation and capacity assessments.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent

  • A least 5 years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of: Procurement / Engineering / Quality/ Manufacturing

  • Background in Aerospace, preferably Space industry

  • Ability to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
