Industrial Support Manager - Cincinnati, OH

Job Description:

Lead Industrialization Projects:
•tOversee industrialization projects for SAFRAN Aircraft Engines.
•tManage and support SAFRANs New Product Introduction (NPI) processes at various suppliers.
•tLead the Industrial Validation Process from project kick-off to validation of product and process robustness.
•tCoordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain) to achieve industrial validation.
•tPrepare final validation packages with suppliers, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and Validation Dossier (DVI).
•tMonitor action plans to ensure alignment with SAFRAN project milestones and deliverables.
•tIdentify potential production or project deviations, define action plans, propose solutions, and manage implementation.
•tEnsure suppliers adhere to correct specifications and quality documents.
•tValidate corrective actions with suppliers and SAFRAN teams.
•tImplement necessary metrics and indicators to track industrialization projects.
•tSupport suppliers in developing recovery plans and solutions.
•tDevelop and maintain key relationships with turbine airfoil suppliers and their respective teams.

Ensure Smooth Transition to Production:
•tPrioritize supplier support to ensure dedicated capacity for SAFRAN.
•tCollaborate with suppliers on production certification through DVI and FAI procedures.
•tAssist suppliers in ramping up production capacities.
•tReport and address logistics and quality issues encountered during development.
Improve Product KPIs:
•tFacilitate communication between SAFRAN design engineers and suppliers to ensure manufacturable product definitions.
•tEncourage concurrent engineering approaches when beneficial.
•tManage the reduction of non-quality events in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and suppliers.
•tSupport SAFRAN Purchasing and Quality teams with technical aspects of NPI production.
•tAssess new suppliers capabilities in industrialization and production of NPI.
Profile:

•tPreferred Experience:
•t3+ years in blades casting and manufacturing production
•tExperience in aeronautical casting alloys (Nickel and Cobalt base).
•tExperience in aerospace industry and supplier relations

Job Requirements:

•\tProficiency in Windows tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•\tConfidentiality regarding SAFRAN activities and action plans.
•\tFrench language skills are appreciated but not mandatory.
•\tEducation: Engineering degree from an accredited university.
