Tasks

The Information Management Expert is in charge of supporting the local organization for all Information Management related topics in accordance with Lufthansa Technik IT standards and in close collaboration with LHT central IT department.

Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • First point of contact for all Information Management related incidents and service requests
  • Resolving incidents and service requests in close cooperation with the Central Information Management team
  • Coordination and steering of local IT suppliers
  • Act as a local point of contact for any IT related outages or planned changes/downtimes and inform local stakeholders about business impact
  • To identify, diagnose, solve, and if necessary - escalate any IT related incidents. To work on IT related service requests and topics. To act as local point of contact for IT related projects from the LHT Group
  • To take over the role of the Technical Information Security Officer, responsible for IT security topics

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Information Management Expert to join our team in the aviation sector to play a crucial role in ensuring seamless, efficient and secure management and operation of IT environment of our organization, in accordance with LHT IT standards.

  • Graduate/Bachelor in IT, Technical/Engineering
  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in an IT related position
  • Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
  • Infrastructure support person
  • Excellent practical skills in Windows OS, Windows Server and networking.
  • Extensive experience in end-user support
  • Excellent customer and service orientation
  • Distinct analytical and conceptual thinking, ability to manage complexity
  • High level of customer orientation
  • Proactivity, creativity and high engagement
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
