Since 2018, we have significantly expanded our operations in Ireland, starting with a 2,700 sqm catering facility at Dublin Airport Logistics Park, employing over 60 people. In 2020, we opened a state-of-the-art 6,300 sqm facility in Dublin, quadrupling our capacity to deliver 40,000 inflight meals daily, supported by an agreement with Aer Lingus to provide catering at four Irish airports. Additionally, we operate a bonded store in Cork and a last-mile logistics center in Shannon. As an IT Manager, you will ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of IT solutions, projects, and services for assigned business units, leverage dnata Group resources where possible; you will be involved with developing IT programs aligned with dnata Catering and Retails strategy, focusing on future growth, innovation, and business integration; you will also manage stakeholder relationships, foster a consistent IT customer experience, identify business needs, and lead improvements across IT operations, align technology initiatives with strategic goals to drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.
In this role, you will
- Develop and implement a localized IT strategy aligned with dnata Catering and Retail’s goals.
- Deliver IT work programs, ensuring cost-effective solutions and innovation to support business needs.
- Manage IT budgets, infrastructure, ERP systems, and annual work plans, ensuring alignment with strategy and ROI.
- Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within global standards and best practices.
- Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, influencing IT investments and driving collaboration.
- Promote continuous improvement, risk management, and service excellence in IT operations.
- Lead and inspire IT teams, fostering an environment of trust, communication, and performance.
- Represent IT in senior management, acting as the single point of accountability for IT matters.
