Summary of AccountabilitiesPlan and coordinate production and refurbishment work to be performed on aircraft. Work with Management to provide customers with quotes and project schedules. Ensure that supplies are ordered, parts are built to our quality expectations and that parts are installed per print. Coordinate with engineering any issues and or product improvement information as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities1. Plan, schedule, and complete tasks on work authorizations/work orders to meet the schedule. Provide daily status reports and progress schedules to management.
2. Coordinate efforts of fabrication and installation activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines. Review work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with company Inspection Procedures Manual, Yingling Avionics Operating Procedures and FAA FAR requirements. Supervise and instruct fabricator/installers with technical guidance and proper procedures for installation and fabrication. Appraise performance of subordinates and submit data to management for review.
3. Review work orders daily for all personnel (including support groups) to ensure accuracy of inputs.
4. Work with management during pre-arrival planning process to facilitate the timely completion and delivery of invoices. Conduct post maintenance invoice reviews with management/customer prior to departure of aircraft from facility.
5. Build work orders to support PMA. Insure fabricated parts are built per print and show adequate traceability.
6. Order materials and supplies as needed to support project.
7. Maintain a preventive maintenance program, on equipment and hand tools.
8. Maintain a current knowledge of applicable Service Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information and all other procedures, publications and general knowledge pertaining to customer aircraft avionics maintenance, installation, and servicing.
9. Supervise a safety program in hangar area, which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems and general housekeeping.
10. Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience- High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
- 6 years aircraft fabrication or installation experience/formal technical training. To include a minimum of 2 years in an FBO environment.
Communication SkillsAbility to read and comprehend detailed instructions and or aircraft blueprints. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Good grammar and spelling skills.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small space-restricted area, and lift up to 40 pounds
Work Environment- Frequent exposure to general shop conditions.
- Frequent exposure to airborne particles and small enclosed areas i.e. small aircraft interiors.
- Occasional exposure to seasonal weather.
