This position is on 2nd Shift (3:30 - 12:00 AM).
POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Lead will oversee multiple areas Receiving, Receiving Inspection, Stock Rooms, Kitting, Expediting and all Kanban. In addition will perform a combination of warehouse, shipping and/or receiving tasks, as well as tracks company inventory.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles AOG and international shipments (Brazil, customers).
- Obtain and organize necessary information to ensure the entire logistics process meets all timelines associated with the activities that support the final production delivery schedule.
- Ensures that AOG’s, Critical, Back Orders and Routines are processed accordingly.
- Will notify customers by phone and/or e-mail when AOG shipments occur and the information is required.
- Arrange inventory cycle counting, stock material in the appropriate locations.
- Suggests improvements in process and procedures.
- Daily Fill Rate tracking (run reports in SAP and ensure all open items are closed within a specific time period).
- Monitor and fix SAP
exceptions, such as deliveries with no transfer orders and orders not closed.
- Research information pertaining to incoming shipments.
- Sort inbound flow and push hourly load to receivers and shippers (including manual exchanges).
- Communicates and interacts with all Customers.
- Document all requirements, develop timelines for deliverables, write reports, and coordinate activities within the department and external to the department.
- Coordinate and oversee the expediting of all Production Shortages between all parties
- Attend Production Status meetings and provide status reports to upper management as required.
- Operates machinery and maintains a valid DL (forklift, order picker, company vehicle).
- May be required to handle shipping and receiving of hazardous material.
- Analyze material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
- Arrange delivery of parts offsite or customer pick up.
- Ensure the creation of pick tickets, including handling of split batches, order reservation and assignment of inventory to open orders.
- Generate shipping documentation, including AWB (airway bill).
- May be required to handle hazardous material documentation, and international paperwork.
- Receive Embraer items and items from the customer. Ship to repair as well as back to the customer. Receive repaired/new pool parts.
- Oversee the Stock process – handles delivery and sorting process.
- Handle the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
- Ensure the Return of stock material re-certified/repaired.
- Reports will be maintained for management review
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- An Associate Degree or Technical Certification is very common at this level and may be required within certain job functions.
Experience:
- FLSA Non-Exempt, Top Level Expert in Service, Production or Support Worker role requiring advanced skills to perform all standard tasks within the function as well as specialized tasks.
- Generally at least 5 years of experience or greater in area of responsibility

- Able to navigate through SAP
- Forklift certified
Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements
- Housekeeping duties and maintenance of clean work area (i.e. keep warehouse area clean and neat at all times).
- Must be able to keep standards of productivity and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
