Job Description SummaryCome join the team that is building and communicating the GE Aerospace Brand! As key member of the Brand Creative Team, the Lead Video Editor will partner with business leadership to create and manage branded video content across all of GE Aerospace. In this role, you will execute on a wide range of internal and external projects spanning multiple social and multimedia platforms. In this role you will work with other skilled and passionate team members, contributing creatively to bring to life our brand vision, as well as occasionally taking the lead on matters pertaining to your expertise and skills in video production. The projects you work on will range from short-turn edits and productions, to long term brand campaigns that span may span months. The team

Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of projects (video) that tell the GE Aerospace story and align with business priorities to promote our brand’s reputation and narrative.
- Help maintain the visual asset library for the brand. This includes video guidelines/standards, b-roll, product photography, and product stories.
- Execute video projects from start to finish (pre-production, shooting, editing, distribution) [assuming there would be multiple]
- Execute on all campaign assets and ensure they align to the current brand narrative and brand guidelines. This includes trade shows, social media posts, advertising, and internal events.
- Drive and enhance customer communications strategy using a wide variety of digital media.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers and using this to accomplish daily work.
- Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 5 years of experience of video design/editing experience with internal and/or external agencies.
- Ability to travel when required by the business (i.e. domestic or international travel 4-6 times per year)
Desired Characteristics
- Ability to create thoughtful and engaging stories with visuals and music
- Experience building brand support and promotional materials
- Familiarity with using brand guidelines in creative development
- Solid understanding of composition and lighting in small and large environments
- Motion and sound design capabilities
- Strong knowledge of 2D animation concepts and execution
- Software expertise: After Effects, Premiere, (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects quickly and efficiently
- Bring a range of creative ideas supported by solid rationale
