Legal & Compliance Manager for Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Main responsibilities:

The jobholder will act as representative of the L function in the country, providing legal & compliance support to all businesses & divisions in close cooperation with the Regional Legal & Compliance team and the Divisions.
This will include notably:
- Advise local & regional management on local legal & compliance matters;
- Provide an efficient support to corporate activities in the country;
- Actively promote and defend the legal interests of the whole Airbus in the country;
- Participate in the organization and implementation of the regional Ethics & Compliance program in the country;
- Support the deployment of the regional Export Control program in the country
- Work transversally on LYM files when required;
- Be a pro-active member of LYM team;

Personal profile:
- Master’s degree in business law (or equivalent) with excellent academic credentials;
- Minimum 10 years of legal experience, ideally through a mix of law firm and in-house roles (aerospace industry experience is a plus);
- Substantive knowledge of the UK Bribery Act, FCPA and OECD anti-corruption rules;
- Integrity and strong adherence to Airbus Values;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Autonomous, proactive and team player;
- Very good proficiency in Arabic and English;
- Available to travel across offices in the Region.

Organization:
- The jobholder will be part of the Airbus Legal and Compliance team for Africa and Middle East (LYM);
- The jobholder will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance Africa and Middle East;
- The position is located in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia);
- The jobholder will sign first an employment contract with Airbus Saudi Limited and will be transferred into the Regional Headquarter of Saudi Arabia as soon as it is created.
