Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Service Manager (m/f)

Job Description:

A vacancy for a LCA Service Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space available for the location Toulouse.

The successful applicant will join T1ER – Product Environmental Compliance and Ecodesign.

As a LCA service manager, you will contribute actively to the measurement and reduction of our products&39; environmental impacts!

Your challenges :

• Performing Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on products, materials and technologies with a focus on SpS customers.
• Manage the overall activities for LCA within T1ER-TL2, ensuring delivery of the LCA results, consistency of the approach, definition of the strategy and support team lead on workload management.
• Interfacing with the different stakeholders, functions, internal and external project teams
• Representing Airbus Defence and Space in front of customers
• Ensuring the consistency of the LCA approach throughout the division and collaborating with other Airbus divisions on the related topics (methodology, tool, database…)
• Participating to external working groups to share best practices
• Managing external support for addressing LCA projects needs.
• Giving LCA Awareness and trainings
• Contributing to the Ecodesign strategy and divisional Responsibility & Sustainability and Environment Affairs objectives

Your profile :

• You are passionate about Airbus D&S products and the environment
• You have an engineering degree in Natural Science, Environment or equivalent

• You have a good experience with LCA methodologies and associated standards (ILCD, ISO14040,…)
• You have performed LCA of complex products using LCA software (Gabi, Simapro)
• You have good analytical abilities and structured way of working
• You have good presentation skills
• You can work in an European team environment and are willing to travel regularly
• Languages: English at negotiation Ievel, additional languages (i.e. German, Spanish, French) are a plus
