Job Title: Line Service ManagerJob Description
The Line Service Manager leads and oversees the entire team of Line Service Technicians for a specific location. This role requires leading by example, coordinating scheduled and unscheduled events, delegating tasks, multitasking, and resolving problems. The Line Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the Line Service Team is highly productive, delivering consistent customer service with the highest level of safety, and making sure the team, facilities, and equipment perform at their best, at all times. The Line Service Manager must have excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills to motivate the team to reach set targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Line Service Technicians.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled events.
- Delegate tasks and resolve problems efficiently.
- Ensure consistent customer service and safety.
- Manage day-to-day tasks and special projects.
- Oversee training and development of Line Service personnel.
- Handle Fuel QC and fuel ordering.
- Mentor Shift Leads and manage daily operations.
- Adhere to company policies and SOPs.
- Maintain fiscal discipline and adhere to budgets.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and transient aircraft crew.
- Address safety-related issues and promote a positive company image.
- Oversee IS-BAH/Safety Program and ensure SMS effectiveness.
- Complete weekly reports and special projects as needed.
- Notify the General Manager of equipment malfunctions or incidents.
Essential Skills- FBO experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a lead or supervisor
- Strong organizational skills (payroll, scheduling, customer service, training)
- Experience with fuel systems and maintenance repair
