Maintenance Control Center Duty Manager
  • Role Purpose

    Manage and performs deep aircraft system troubleshoot and perform all aircraft systems and components history review and tracking. Follow up with engineering department to investigate root cause of Cronic system failures and update for required action. Review with shift duty manager for aircraft commitment with all the parties to support the operations. Review aircraft on ground and request the required Maintenance while aircraft on ground Review of the non-schedule maintenance events to the OGS and aircraft commitment to ensure the maximum utilization of the SAUDIA fleet and the on-time performance.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure the aircraft is flying legally.
    • Involve in preparing long and short-term maintenance schedule.
    • Set the daily maintenance plan and objective for the shift.
    • Represent the SV Technical Services at all SAEI AM planning meeting to assist and construct short term maintenance schedule.
    • Coordinate with flight dispatch regarding to station operation restriction.
    • Coordinate with all stations regarding the latest update for station capabilities and restrictions.
    • Review VIP & ETOP flights set up and final
    • Oversee all aircraft tail number swap to maintain optimum fleet operation and utilization.
    • Assist and plan for AOG aircraft recoveries for delayed flight due to equipment shortage.
    • Monitor the progress of maintenance plan execution and assist in taking decision to avoid unnecessary ground time extension.
    • Coordinate staff training requirements.
    • Obtain flight schedules for the next 72 hours and more.
    • Review the required ground time and appropriate station for maintenance activities.
    • Review and monitor the aircraft long and short-term schedule.
    • Coordinate with other SAUDIA divisions on OGS, Extra flights, future flights, substitution, load requirements, VIP flight, Hajj & Umra and fleet commitments.
Required Qualifications
    • ICAO Type 2 license.
    • Type training level 3 B1/B2 Endorsed on the license.
    • Company authorization.
    • Minimum 10 years of MCC experience.
    • Experience working on Boeing fleet.
