The Maintenance Manager is overall responsible for managing day-to-day engineering operations across multiple stations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective aircraft maintenance in line with company commercial and operational requirements. The role oversees both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, proactively managing AOGs and operational disruptions through close coordination with internal stakeholders to minimise aircraft grounding and service impact
You will ensure the highest quality and safety standards by maintaining compliance with all technical publications, revisions, and regulatory requirements, while actively promoting a strong safety culture across teams. The role involves conducting audits, analysing trends, and implementing corrective action plans, forecasting operational and manpower requirements, and optimising resource deployment to meet maintenance targets. You will lead monthly staff meetings, oversee training and development plans, manage performance reviews, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. Additionally, you will compile monthly station reports, manage leave and overtime controls, and develop, analyse, and execute annual budgets covering manpower, capital, and non-capital expenditure to ensure overall cost effectiveness and operational efficiency.
QualificationCandidates must hold ICAO Type II / JAR 66 / GCAA type-rated licences on company aircraft, along with relevant company approvals. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial aviation maintenance organisation is required, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong administrative and people management skills are essential, with the ability to lead a multi-national workforce, resolve complex operational challenges, and manage conflict effectively. The role requires full working knowledge of air legislation, regulatory frameworks, and international maintenance standards.You should also have a right to work and live in Pakistan
