ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:

• Supervises and oversees all active appliance maintenance, aircraft maintenance, resources, and activities at the Jet Rx Service Center under line and base maintenance requirements.
• Directly responsible for the day-to-day activities of all shop and hangar floor operations.
• Responsible for all activities of the maintenance planning and production control area in the hangar.
• Track and report daily maintenance productivity performance.
• Main Battery CAP Check (Nicad and Sealed Lead Acid)
• Perform Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance on Business Jets and TurboProps

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• FAA A&P license Desired
• Supervisory, planning and scheduling experience.
• High level communication skills, written and verbal.
• Understand, read and write English
• Bilingual (English with Portuguese or Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to coach and motivate.
• Strong presence on maintenance/ production floor continuously driving improvement.
• Analytical problem-solving ability, process oriented.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience supervising and/or directing workgroups
• Experience with process improvement in maintenance and/or production environments
• Experience in positions requiring budget understanding, resource forecasting and management, and workload planning in maintenance.
• 2-4 years of experience in People Management.
• 2 years verifiable hands-on experience spent in the repair, maintenance, overhaul or manufacture of Executive Business Jets and appliances

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:

• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant)
