Manager IS Flight Systems
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manager IS Flight Systems for an opportunity in Wilmington, Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in tracking and resolving software issues.
Preferred Skills:- Proven experience with airline systems, preferably the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY).
- Familiarity with ticket management systems.
- Experience in liaising with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to document and improve workflows for system processes.
Job Description:System Management:- Track and manage tickets submitted with the Lufthansa Flight System (LSY).
- Elevate high-priority tickets to Product Development Managers (PDMs) as required.
Analysis & Troubleshooting:- Investigate reported issues to determine root causes.
- Review issue descriptions and supplement with relevant information to expedite resolution.
Coordination:- Serve as the liaison between business users, LSY support teams, and internal IT.
- Follow up on outstanding issues with LSY, ATSG IT, and business users to ensure timely resolution.
Knowledge Management:- Maintain documentation of ticketing workflows and solutions.
- Provide training and support to business users on LSY functionality and updates.
