As Manager, IT Tooling and Metrics, you will lead the development and implementation of IT enablement products and performance metrics capabilities for Group IT. Ensure centralized management of EGIT’s products to provide a connected experience and maximize value.           



In this role, you will: 



  1.  IT Tooling Strategy & Investment: Define and drive the strategy, vision, and roadmap for IT enablement products and tools. Ensure IT tools are integrated effectively with existing processes and systems. Develop the long-term investment strategy for IT tooling, aligning with Enterprise Architecture. Advise key IT business and finance stakeholders on annual and 3-year investment levels to achieve value, reduce technology debt, and ensure scalability.

  2. IT Internal Product Management (IT Tooling): Provide long-term IT product roadmaps to IT business owners. Evaluate business cases for product roadmap investments and offer value propositions at an IT capability level to deliver differentiated solutions (e.g., Planview/recharge tool, Waqti, busla, JIRA, Confluence, Knowledge management solution, new solutions etc.)

  3.  IT tooling Implementation: Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of IT tools and systems supporting EGIT’s operational needs. Manage vendor relationships for IT tools, including negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue management. Ensure tools are implemented and adopted to support the IT work program, including IT Agile PMO, Technical Product Management, and delivery requirements.

  4. Backlog management: Serve as the entry point for IT-4-IT enablement tools and products. Provide a single view of demand and scope across EGIT, managing prioritization activities with IT business owners. Assess and sequence ideas, defining high-level needs, business value, and effort in collaboration with technology teams and IT business leaders.

  5. IT Performance Metrics: Design and implement a metrics framework to measure IT performance. Set and track IT performance objectives and key performance indicators across all capabilities. Ensure organizational performance KPIs are measured and reported using the appropriate tools. Use data-driven insights to drive actions aligned with IT strategy. Communicate relevant insights to teams and integrate them into the ongoing improvement program.

  6. Team Management: Coach and mentor a team of high performing IT professionals, providing continuous feedback and facilitating professional development.  Enable the team to flourish through high levels of engagement and productivity and nurture and attract high performing experts.  

Job Requirements:
This job might be for you if you have:



  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science or Operations Research, Marketing science, Information Systems, or a combination of industry certification

  • 12+ years of relevant experience SAFe trained and certified

    • 10+ yrs Information Technology. Other

    • Minimum 3 years experience of scaled agile and other delivery frameworks and implementation of technology solutions.



  • Experience of working with IT and business teams at all levels to foster a climate of trust, agility and collaboration.

  • Experience in designing knowledge management strategies and solutions for large organisations.

  • Proven ability in scaled agile and other delivery frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability to present convincing ideas, facilitate group sessions, influence decisions, and interact with all levels of IT as a business.

  • Good comprehension of tools and techniques to roll out technology solutions.
