Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking a Manager of Information Technology 3 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals to lead its Sector Contracts & Pricing Tools Team. The Contracts & Pricing Tools Team Manager will be a direct report to the Sector Director of Contracts & Pricing + for the Mission Systems Sector. We are seeking a highly qualified, strong leader to oversee, develop, influence, and enable the strategic direction of Contracts, Pricing, Government Property and International Trade Compliance Tools for our organization. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the Sector leadership team’s journey to deliver and continually improve upon the tool set being utilized by the organization.
This position will be located in Linthicum, MD, or an identified NGMS hub location (San Diego, CA, Woodland Hills, CA; Rolling Meadows, IL; Charlottesville, VA; Amherst, NY; Apopka, FL)
What You Will Get To Do:
In this role you will lead a team of nine information system professionals with functionally diverse responsibilities whose goal is to focus on tools Contracts, Pricing, Government Property and International Trade Compliance professionals are utilizing on a daily basis. The successful candidate will work closely with Sector leadership, Division directors, Corporate/Sector working groups, and other Sector level functional leadership in support of deploying tools, gathering & reporting data, performing analytics, supporting sector-level objectives, special projects, Sector communications, and developing positive relationships at all levels. In these tasks, the successful candidate will have the opportunity for creativity and thought leadership by developing and implementing changes in support of the Sector Contracts, Pricing, Government Property and International Trade Compliance teams and have opportunities for improving the user experience within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team in developing and deploying data analytics and tools to help drive compliance, timeliness, and inform business area decision-making.
Supports multiple, concurrent initiatives to evaluate, define, design, implement, measure, monitor, and control business process improvements and tools within MS Sector Contracts, Pricing & Estimating, International Trade Compliance and Government Property Tool sets.
Partners closely with functional experts to provide real-time CP+ tool support, consult, and solutioning that leverages existing products or new development.
Deploy new tools capabilities as they become available from the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) - examples include the Contract Management System (CMS)
Collaborate with other sectors and functions by sharing best practices, technology and tool sets.
Oversee tools issue resolution.
Manage recurring activities to support the existing CP+ tool set. This includes effective management of critical updates to information within the tools, as well as SAP administration.
Identify, develop, and recommend risk mitigation strategies to address complex functional issues
Provide adequate resourcing and oversight to ensure the execution of the goals of the organization
Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
Interface with executive management in reporting and presentations of data visualization capabilities
Direct management, oversight, budget management and career development of nine professionals
QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and at least 10 years of relevant IT professional experience. Masters degree and 8 years of relevant IT professional experience
At least 3 years of experience working in Data Analytics
Experience as a functional manager of other information technology professionals
Ability to influence change across both team and leadership levels through relationship building and collaboration
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to ensure milestones are met
Ability to work effectively in cross functional (operations, management, and financial) teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
Experience as a program and/or project manager
Experience across multiple domains from: Program Management, Agile, Lean, or DevSecOps
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business or Science or Technology
Experience working with Tableau, Tableau Prep, Data Analysis, SQL, Web Applications, Executive Dashboards
Northrop Grumman Cross-sector experience is desirable
Experience in the Aerospace Industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $141,900 - $246,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
