What You’ll Need to Bring with You:
Your Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 10+ years of experience as an AMT or QC inspector for Part 145 and/or Part 135. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not required.
Your Experience:
- Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to read electrical and structural prints is recommended.
- Customer service experience is recommended.
Your Initiative:
We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where meeting specific deadlines and time constraints is common. Attention to detail, maintaining accuracy, and clear communication—both written and verbally—are essential for success.
Your Sense of Responsibility:
- Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
- Notify the supervisor in advance of shift start if unable to work.
- You must have reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Enter data and complete entries with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate projects and maintain schedules as required.
- Ensure good communication with management and personnel regarding all data needs.
- Follow all company rules and FAA regulations while performing duties.
- Maintain customer-oriented work habits for oneself and the department.
- Actively work to keep the work order system current.
Other Particulars:
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
- Bend, reach, and stoop around aircraft.
- Sit at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
- Work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear.
Mental Requirements:
- Prioritize and manage your workload effectively.
- Work professionally with others.
- Adapt to new or upgraded computer systems.
- Collaborate with FAA personnel in interpreting and communicating regulations.
