KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Manager of Safety & Security Compliance is responsible for enhancement and leadership within our Safety Management and Security Management Systems (SMS / SeMS) at New Pacific Airlines. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices while playing key roles in our emergency response planning, risk assessments, and safety initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate New Pacific Airlines’ Core Values: Safety, Commitment, Integrity, Reliability, and Connectedness in all duties, including: 

• Lead and manage aviation safety and security compliance programs.
• Ensuring compliance with all TSA and FAA regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company security policies.
• Oversee and enhance the airline’s SMS and SeMS.
• Play a key role in airline emergency response planning and execution.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations to maintain a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide training in safety, emergency response, and security subject areas.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-driven individual with a deep passion for aviation. Qualifications include: 

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree in aviation, security, or a related field is preferred. 
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in aviation security, preferably within a 14 CFR Part 121 environment.
• Familiarization and training in Safety Management, including:
• Policy and attributes of safety management
• Hazard identification, risk analysis, and mitigation
• Safety assurance, corrective action, and safety promotion
• Ensuring the effectiveness of risk controls
• Data analysis and safety risk acceptance
• Safety promotion initiatives
• Advising the accountable executive on SMS performance and improvements
• Experience with Airline Emergency Response Planning and program ownership.
• Knowledge and education in the Aircraft Operator, Private Charter, Twelve-Five, and Full All Cargo Standard Security Programs.
• Must have strong communication, leadership, and crisis management skills with past experiences that demonstrate these skills.
• Must have the ability to serve as a primary contact for TSA and security-related matters.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
