SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Comprehensive understanding of FAR’s, Part 21 and Part 145 Repair Station activities.
- Experience with composite manufacturing and tooling is a plus.
- Technical and working knowledge of the Component Overhaul Manual 5 (COM 5),
- Technical and working knowledge of the Handbook of Maintenance Instruction (HMI)
- Technical and working knowledge of Repair Station Procedures
- Proficiency with JD Edwards systems, a plus.
- Technical knowledge of Production procedures, Company Instructions (CI) Company Procedures (CP), and Blue prints.
- Understanding of Lean Principals.
- Comprehensive understanding of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), a plus.
- Familiarization of AS9110, AS9100 and company quality processes and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, planning and organization skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
- Access to Export Control Information.
- Regular attendance at the worksite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline required and 3-5 years work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
