Purpose of Position
The Manager, Crew Scheduling is responsible for managing a tactical operations team to perform all aspects of crewmember planning, optimization, analysis and administration. This includes EJM dedicated crew programs and contract crew members.

The Manager, Crew Scheduling will participate in the implementation of a Crew Resource Management Program. This role will work closely with the leadership of the Flight Center Teams and various cross functional departments by providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Tasks and Responsibilities
•Provide tactical oversight of the Crew Scheduling Team. Create and maintain daily and monthly schedules to ensure proper staffing levels.
•Participate in the new hire process and develop initial and recurrent training program.
•Utilize developmental leadership practices to ensure employees are properly trained on their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes developing policy and procedures, monitoring progress against goals, and resolving escalated issues.
•Grow and develop employees to meet the current and future needs of the business. Enhance technical skills and business competencies of team by establishing and monitoring individual performance, providing ongoing feedback and improvement suggestions.
•Assure all scheduling functions are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with federal regulations.
•Responsible for managing and evolving the tactical and strategic models used to efficiently administer the crewmember workforce. Assure that forward looking metrics are maintained and that crewing forecasts continue to evolve based on data. Keep the organization aware of potential resource constraints.
•Develop improved tools, processes, training, automation, and migration of old platforms to new integrated ones.
•Serve as subject matter expert and departmental resource. Providing support, technical leadership, and direction on all departmental activities.
•Support the department while aligning with Flight Center and company goals.
•Reviews case management documentation. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
•Writes technical reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
•Vendor management responsibilities.
•On call duties are expected 24/7/365

Bachelor's in Aviation or Business
