What are your contributions to the team?
- Establish a strong business relationship with the management teams of the Challenger sites and the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center to be aware of their needs and business issues, and implement the corresponding HR strategies, ensuring their follow-up and evolution.
- Support the design, development, and deployment of performance management, compensation, annual leadership review, and development programs and processes.
- Ensure the application of the collective agreement and the philosophy regarding labor relations by maintaining a collaborative relationship with the union.
- Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with union representatives to foster a harmonious work environment and proactively resolve conflicts.
- Ensure the professional development of your team of business partners by guiding them daily in their roles and responsibilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to influence HR strategies and policies.
- Act as a facilitator for various projects.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related discipline.
- You have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in human resources and labor relations in a unionized environment, including at least two (2) years in a management role.
- You have experience in developing, designing, and delivering HR business solutions for a variety of clients.
- You have demonstrated significant impact and influence and are capable of positioning yourself, even in ambiguous situations, to help your partners make informed decisions.
- You have the ability to challenge the status quo and show initiative, creativity, and proactivity to evolve the HR model.
- You have a structured approach, are flexible, and are known for your strong interpersonal relationships.
- You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English.
