Manager, Quality

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Quality to join the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segments Missile Solution Sector at our growing Camden, AR locaton.  Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports, and recommend corrective actions. Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes. Oversees testing department activities and work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags. Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures. Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.

Essential Functions: 

• Lead Quality Team for customer programs.
• Interface with the Customer and on-site representative as required.
• Lead Quality team to achieve AR site goals.

• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related quality experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related quality experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related quality experience.

Preferred Additional Skills: 

• Engineering or technical experience in the aerospace and defense industry. 

• GD&T knowledge.

• Knowledge of Maestro, Oracle, Delmia systems.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 

• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 auditing.
