Arconic is currently in search of MARKET RESEARCH MANAGER to join our North American Rolled Products Team. The Market Research Manager will be responsible for conducting spanet studies to identify spanet sizing, competitiveness, and new customers to support Arconics growth strategy. The Market Research Manager will work with many internal customers such as sales, spaneting, and operations.

Major Activities & Key Challenges
- Conduct spanet studies to identify spanet sizing, competitiveness and new customers to support Arconic’s growth strategy
- Prepare and present internal spanet intelligence reports on key spanets, products, competitors, and prices
- Identify and assess the impact of mega trends to the long-term business strategy
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the impacts that Government regulations, infrastructure spending, and economic policies have on future spanet demand
- Support product development activities and research as assigned by Marketing Director
- Serve as a key contributor to the evaluation and optimization of spaneting and pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain product brochures, data sheets, and other spaneting literature
- Support planning for company trade shows, exhibitions, etc.
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education
- Prior experience in the metals or heavy manufacturing industry
- Prior experience in the aluminum industry a plus
- Proactive with superior analytical and numerical skills
- Good knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Comfortable presenting to all organizational levels
- Goal-oriented, inquisitive, and self-motivated
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a spanet research, finance, economics, strategy, or related function
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
