Worldwide Jet is a Premier on-demand FAA Part 135 private charter operator. We own our entire fleet of aircraft consisting of Hawker 800XPs, Challenger 601s, Gulfstream IVSPs / G300, and a Global Express.  

The Role 

The Material Support Manager is responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory, and handling and processing aircraft material as required by the Company while managing a team of material support personnel. This candidate will report to the Director of Maintenance and the CEO.  

Is this a remote position? 

This is not a remote position. Candidates will report for duty at our Phoenix (Deer Valley) AZ office.

Duties Include (but are not limited to): 

  • Manage a team of material support personnel 
  • Research new vendors and contracts
  • Negotiate discounts
  • Search for parts and materials
  • Order parts
  • Issue PO’s, sales orders, and invoices
  • Manage inventory at several locations
  • Perform inventory reconciliation
  • Understand and manage shelf-life limited material
  • Understand and manage limited aircraft parts
  • Work with multiple shipping companies
  • Work with the Director of Aircraft Maintenance and other management as necessary 

Requirements: 

  • Must have a working knowledge of Corridor Aviation Software 
  • Knowledge of hazmat shipping and handling
  • Familiar with ESDS and preventative procedures
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel for meetings, audits, or projects
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Must possess a valid clean driver’s license that is insurable by the Company
