Northrop Grumman’s Mission System’s Networked Information Solutions (NIS) Division is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for the Cyber and Information Solutions (C&IS) portfolio. The customers in this portfolio include both DoD and Intelligence Community. As part of team dedicated to winning new business and spanet development, the successful candidate will lead the customer engagement in this area and cross company collaboration resulting in capture wins and new awards. Day-to-day activities will include customer plans, pipeline management, opportunity architecting, strategic partnerships, and new business investment management.
The ideal candidate will be able to work across all security domains. The senior manager will also have exceptional communication and negotiation abilities in support of framing strategies, mission CONOPS, developing requirements with the warfighter, and strategic teaming.
Specific job duties include:
- Technical/operational/customer/partner knowledge for the Offensive Cyber Operations, Non-Kinetic Effects and Multi-INT sensor spanet areas
- Customer engagement strategies. Be the face of the business for our customer
- Identification/creation and validation of program opportunities
This positions preferable locations are Cincinnati, OH or Falls Church, VA.
Travel may be required up to 75 of the time. The operating unit is based in Cincinnati, OH and Tampa, FL. The primary customer locations are Northern Virginia. 100 remote would be considered for the ideal candidate.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior or current customer facing Business Development experience in the Aerospace and Defense domain.
- 10 years combined experience with a BA degree or 8 years’ experience with a master’s degree
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Demonstrated experience in the DoD & intelligence spanetplace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent, within the last 3 years, direct experience within USG or IC program offices as civilian or military personnel
- Experience with one of the following: Offensive Cyber, Multi-INT sensing or Non-Kinetic Effect missions and capabilities
Salary Range: $149,400 - $246,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
