Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Global Trade (GT) Compliance (individual contributor). Come join our Global Trade (GT) team supporting the Power & Controls Strategic Business Unit. The GT team partners with various functional groups within the organization to ensure compliant business activity involving the export and import of government regulated items. As part of the GT team, you will support ensuring regulatory compliance to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other global regulations that govern requirements for our U.S. and international sites.
This role will be worked hybrid to a Power & Controls location - Rockford, IL; Windsor Locks, CT; Phoenix, AZ. This list is not inclusive.
What You Will Do:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting.
Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export Authorizations (Licenses DSP-5, DSP-73, DOC licenses, Agreements MLAs, TAAs, Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services
Review and approve export transactional requests involving employee travel, visitor access, technical data exports, and hardware exports
Support the deployment of GT requirements to ensure business standard work and processes incorporate GT touchpoints
Organize and prepare GT training to internal business customers
Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures
Domestic travel up to 10-15
What You Will Learn:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.6
Experience with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing requirements
Experience with an automated license management system; OCR, EASE, etc.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management, international business, legal, or international trade from an accredited institution preferred
Global Trade System experience
Aerospace industry experience

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
